Ridiculous Roti Names

Is it just me or are Roti names getting more and more ridiculous?

Maybe after Roti I Love You, they’re gonna Roti Kahwin and have a Roti Boy.

I’m Banging the Kok with my two winners from my Mister Potato TV Commercial contest.
Last night we ate fried grasshoppers for supper.

  1. Well, there is a Roti Boy in Alamada, Putrajaya
This will be how i order in that mamak,
“Bagi I roti I love You sardin telur tisu kaya bom, dengan teh tarik ais tak mau kurang sejuk”
    I am so lame

  2. kenny, there is roti kahwin… it’s bread with planta and kaya. Not sure about roti boy, perhaps it’s in a conversation – “Roti, boy?”

  3. there is a new roti in town…
roti mahathir and roti pak lah…
whats d different between both of it?
roti mahathir ada telur, roti pak lah tarak telur!
    kakakakakakakaka 😀

  4. There is “Roti KLCC” which has two roti roll up shape like two cone on a plate with sweet condense milk circling around the cone. But it doesnt really look like KLCC at all… Instead it reminded people “something” else… I would say Roti Boobs or Roti Bra will be sound more suitable… for non-SX version, probably is better call as Roti Pyramid “The Cone ver.”

  5. huh, this is nothing to u after pay a visit to the mamak stall in serdang/UPM area. Roti michael jackson, titanic, black n white, u name it, n u got it in the long menu list.

  6. hmm…we have roti kahwin but no roti boy, however we do have ‘fun boy’ , or roti john which apparently comes in various sizes namely, master john, papa john, mama john and baby john (yes all very cryptic) no joke!

  12. yea, ‘roti i love u’ has been existed for ages, coz i tried it about 10 years back. And it is so so so sweet, they put all the sweet ingredients to make a ‘rito i love u’, for example condence milk, milo, sugar, honey, syrup etc. and you can taste all this different tastes all over the roti canai… maybe the first bite is milo taste, then the nxt bite is honey etc.
