Kenny, you can save a lot on your Propecia bill by doing this. Buy a box ( 30 tablets ) of PROSCAR from any pharmacy. Cut each tablet into 5 pieces which is equivalent to 1 mg of finasteride, the same ingredient found in Propecia. You can have 150 pieces which can last you 5 months. Each box of proscar cost approx RM 180.00. So 1 month you will need to spend only RM 36.00. Propecia is by far the only known cure for male pattern baldness. Good Luck !

Posted by: Dennis at 26 August 2008 9:45 PM

hi,

What a nice & interesting trip! I wish i can be there.

Cheers,

There is more than that to see in Thailand, Kenny. Check out some places outside Thailand and you will leave Bangkok out of your schedule next time. Not that Bangkok is not nice but some places outside Bangkok is just awesome. CY.

Posted by: ?? at 27 August 2008 3:49 AM

So the whole thing was a scam - another cheap advert attempt for the overpriced Mr Potato. Poor boys who had to wear the Mr Potato t-shirt everywhere they went and walk around with bags of chips like those cigarette girls. Boo!

Posted by: Adscam at 27 August 2008 4:18 AM

You Ar. Told me to watch at 7pm. If I missed the whole thing... don't you say anything about it!

Posted by: Samantha at 27 August 2008 4:42 AM

Balant advertising...but still nice photos none the less.

I like to think of you as the Bill Watterson of blogs...except that you have sold out and that all your characters have been merchandised.

The basic essence of blogging is to post your own experiences and thoughts instead of being forced to write entries on the whim of sponsors,at the drop of a hat at that. Is it not?

Posted by: Chris at 27 August 2008 8:04 AM

omg. this is the most hardsell travel entry i have ever read! hahahaha

Posted by: Nicole at 27 August 2008 8:22 AM

ooohhh hotties lol

Posted by: von at 27 August 2008 8:29 AM

well written. actually enjoyed that.

Posted by: NYC at 27 August 2008 9:30 AM

Haha. U're a very good guide. Those places u brought them to was spread into like 5 times of my Bkk trips?

Anw, those insects tasted more like soy sauce chips. No?

Posted by: The Horny Bitch at 27 August 2008 9:33 AM

Honestly, i think the whole trip is too commercialized with that t-shirt, the amount of potato chips on display and what not.

And what's with that awful t-shirt they are made to wear?

Posted by: Kian Teck at 27 August 2008 9:47 AM

Joshua is adorable! Is he single? ;)

Posted by: Jay at 27 August 2008 9:50 AM

Kian Teck, well, the trip is fully sponsored by Mister Potato. They spent a lot of money on it so that's why they have to get their branding out. Why else would they pay for the trip right? :)

Posted by: kennysia at 27 August 2008 9:56 AM

Joshua = Cute.

I like.

Posted by: Sara at 27 August 2008 11:09 AM

Posted by: Samantha at 27 August 2008 12:37 PM

Those boys are cute...
Doesn't care if its an ad or what so ever...
They are cute.

Intro them in your blog pls.. how old, blabla

Posted by: Selina at 27 August 2008 1:15 PM

Kenny, you need to be more subtle. Take a class in product placement 101. Your sponsors and readers would be more grateful for it...

Posted by: Alex at 27 August 2008 1:29 PM

hehe, yeah.

i know Boo Leong too born 1986. he was from Hamid Khan Penang. yeah he was a King Scout too.

yeah. why didnt the cute lil boy in photo joined the trip as well?

Posted by: skim at 27 August 2008 6:08 PM

Posted by: Maddie at 27 August 2008 6:28 PM

Wow! You guys certainly had a chippy great time!! I think the Old Uncle's expression sums it all up!! :) :)

Posted by: the Razzler at 27 August 2008 6:42 PM

What did the potato chip with fried grasshopper taste like? And, don't say sour cream, that's a cheap cop out.

Posted by: wtfiswrongwithyouppl at 27 August 2008 7:15 PM

Posted by: ZeekNotGeek at 27 August 2008 9:53 PM

Lin MiaoKe is only a child.
What she did may be the instruction of adults. Why make it a big point and put all the false on her, it's funny how the media wrote about her and all the readers just deceived by them. Blame the adults for all their so called 'mature' mind, hurt a child's feeling like they are permitted to even though they don't know anything about her.

Posted by: Me at 27 August 2008 11:22 PM

Posted by: Josh at 28 August 2008 4:34 PM

Kenny,

Always love what you do with ur blog but just wanna ask ur help again to let ur reader know about one of our admired blogger's friend Raja Petra blog Malaysia today is blocked by the SKMM although it can be reached at http//mt.harapanmalaysia.com. If they censor blog that doesn't flow with their idea, sooner or later blog like urs even humorous will suffer the wrath of the nincompoop out there that fear thing they don't understand. I don't want one day SKMM start blocking blog that say ppl opposing view, or blog with ppl swallow snake heart. Please let others know.

Thanks

Posted by: Keith at 28 August 2008 4:52 PM

Hey kenny, the last time i read your blog was two years ago, i really really liked it because your character was really interesting and what you wrote about never fail to put a smile on my face. :D

However this post with mister potato really killed it. The blatant advertisement was too much and i think the shirt they made was really distasteful.

somehow the essence and the spark you use to have, seems to be dimmer now.

But clever of those guys to jump on the ride of your fame. Good luck and all the best! :D

Posted by: megan at 29 August 2008 12:21 AM

they look so muak of mr. potato la.
joshua looked pretty much like he was on the verge of puking from all the potatoes
but the old man very very cute.
should use him for the next mr.potato ad! or more of joshua's cute lil kid would be cool too ...=)
hee hee

Posted by: fatpringlesfan at 29 August 2008 1:30 AM

i've met the old uncle the last time i visited Thailand - we chatted a bit and he told me he used to live in Austin, Texas.

he's one of the highlights of the temple, IMHO - seeing him yelling irately at tourists to put their "shoes in the box, shoes in the box~!" is priceless.

Posted by: rachel at 29 August 2008 3:22 AM

waa..bestnya dapat gi sana. :)

Posted by: eri at 29 August 2008 9:33 PM

Hey everyone, I know you know that Kenny Sia has been one of the greatest in our days. He makes fun of life, he brings fun to our lives too. But, too sad to find this out, that someone had come out with this stupid idea. I know, Kenny Sia is so generous that he will not even put a damn on it, but still, as a Kenny Sia's fan, I think you FANS should see this. http://lauyupin.blogspot.com/2008/08/kennysia-vs-minister-potato.html

Posted by: Kenny Sia's Fan at 30 August 2008 2:12 AM

Posted by: osk at 30 August 2008 4:06 PM

Oh, no don't get me wrong, i wasn't implying that you're gay, i was erring on the side of commercialism where beautiful people usually have the upper hand :) anyway, whereabouts is this event you're attending in London? might drop by if it's during the weekend!

Posted by: Lucy at 31 August 2008 2:48 AM

hey.
i demand an RM 3.49 refund pls!
bought a can of mr.potato and it is TERRIBLE la...
it used to taste better... did they spend all the money on advertising/paying you and not have any more money for flavour?
