Kenny, just to warn you. You are absolutely responsible for whatever you write or post in your blog. You are even responsible for all the comments from your readers if you didn’t take proper care to screen what they’ve write. You can have a disclaimer in your blog, but that is not recognised by a judge.

I am a blogger, myself, obviously. As such I am typically an advocate for bloggers rights and I am a fan of free speech in all its forms. On the other hand, I’m not a fool, and I realize that certain types of speech and certain actions surrounding speech will have consequences. For example, the slandering pictures of Malaysian politicians will get you into hot soup. Even the ladies can take legal proceedings against you for exposing their photo without their concern. For instance, if I make statements that aren’t true and present them as facts, I’m personally subject to a civilly actionable lawsuit for libel. If I were to write here threatening remarks to a political figure, I could be subject to criminal prosecution. If I describe past criminal activities here, I’m subject to stand trial for those crimes. Do you have justifiable facts to defend yourself when you did a side by side evaluation between the politicians and the girls?

In Malaysia if someone wins a judgement on libel, it could be in millions paid off as compensation. There are even people who end-up broke going through libel proceedings and most of them turn to bankruptcy if they are unable to folk out the payment.

Are you aware that under the Malaysia law for defamation, you as the person who slandered the other person have to show and provide your own defence to the judge? And believe me its not easy, while the other person just has to claim that you had damaged his/her good image and the judge will evaluate and allow proceedings.

Frankly, its no harm to criticise the government or politicians, but what you write must be true facts and of public concern / interest. Sad to say, the way you have written this post is more of making baseless mockery of 2 politicians and girls. I do agree with one of the person who commented in here that you are swimming into deep waters which you are not aware of. Frankly, that commenter is right. You can be charged as a criminal for this act of yours. Finally, I would suggest that you remove this post and apologise before it’s too late because I hate to see a young chap like you ruin his youth just because of his foolishness.

There was one Malay commenter who initially objected about the picture. The person asked Kennysia if his purpose of posting the picture was racist and immediately another commenter answered the question that he’s not.

Subsequently, this Malay chap accepted the answer, but some of Kennysia’s loyal readers reacted by insulting the Malay race and Kennysia did nothing about it but provoke it. It seems like some of Kennysia’s readers in here are full of hate towards other races. Why? I don’t know, but I feel it is dreadful and could upset our fellow Malays.

Quite a number of people had already commented about their concerns, detests and objections to the photochop posting Kennysia had done up of Anwar and Najib on his blog, but what did he do about it? Absolutely nothing!

Is he considering the sensitive aspect of this issue? Guess not, because so far Kennysia is just ignoring their comments and shockingly, he is also provoking and supporting a cyber racial clash on his weblog. I feel he doesn’t care about other people’s feelings, other than his own appeal.

Kennysia feels that the photochop picture and jokes made about some Singapore girls’ cyber catfight measuring up to our political leader’s conflicts is the chuckle of the year and it is sensually entertaining his readers. I hope Kennysia do have some regards for these people even if he has some sort of aversion for the leaders or maybe the girls.

Kenny has no sensible motive of posting this photochop picture. He is not even a political blogger or a cyber rebel fighting for a cause. I strongly believe Kennysia’s objective of writing this article is for his own personal benefit and financial gains.

To me Kennysia is a vulture blogger. He hunts for hot news and create it into some silly joke, so that his readers’ volume increases and subsequently money will flow in from the ads on his weblog. His only concern is money. He is also a fame seeker and probably, at times, a show off too. Frankly, I got no concern if Kenny just blog about himself, his life or even make jokes on some insensitive news, but I totally object when he insults and victimise people and turns sensitive political views and issues as teasers. He should not be mocking about this things. He takes other people’s troubles and agonies to make some quick bucks out of it. This is shameful and condemned by society. Does he consider all these factors? You determine.

Readers, I do have a sense of humour, but I also have my limits. I do laugh at most of Kennysia’s jokes, but I do not laugh at people’s problems and sufferings or even giggle if I see a fat lady tumble on the street. I feel Kennysia’s photochop picture of Anwar and Najib is absolutely not funny neither it’s chauvinistic, but an insult and full of hate. He had actually insulted four people and shown abhorrence towards two Malay leaders. What Kennysia done is absolutely illegal and can be criminally charged if someone decides to make a police report. You can confirm this with any police or lawyer.

Blogging is not about total freedom of speech. A blogger has limits when it comes to writing about religion, race and politics because these subjects are very perceptive. I am shock that Kenny don’t understand this simple rule even after blogging for four years. Even journalists take extreme care and measures before writing about perceptive issues. Those who don’t, usually get themselves into trouble.

A sensible blogger do not write foolish articles or even post insulting photos. There are many mature bloggers in Malaysia, but I am sad Kennysia is not one of them. How would Kennysia react if someone took his family’s photos or maybe his departed father’s photo, change it, post it on the internet so that the public can have a good chuckle. I am sure he will get very disappointed. There is nothing funny when you insult another. I hope Kennysia realise that the four persons he is making fun of do have families.

I don’t blame some Malay readers for firmly objecting the photochop picture of Anwar and Najib. I am sure they are their supporters and what do you expect them to do? Keep quite and accept the insult in good faith. Don’t think so. For sure they will react, even in a manner they feel it could be considered racist because the writer is Chinese. If Kennysia was a Malay boy, it might not be so sensitive. I strongly propose that Kennysia try to resolve this conflict from happening. Probably he could start screening some bad comments which could prevent an unexpected cyber racial clash. Better, just apologise and remove the post.

Some of Kennysia’s readers/commenter and Kennysia himself should realise that, we as the citizen of this country, Malaysia, are not considered Malaysian domestically. When we are in Malaysia, we differentiate our self by race and religion because every race has different cultures and even their status and outlook are not the same. Why? That you got to ask god.

These people should realise that it’s not possible for all races in Malaysia to be united as one, where everyone is equal. Why? Firstly, every race have different believes and it’s impossible to combine these believes into one. Are you willing to liberate your believes and subsequently accept or comprehend another? Guess not. Secondly, god didn’t make everyone equal and the weaker race will suffer if they are treated as equal to a more commanding race. Finally, history cannot be change. I personally don’t believe that we will be a peaceful nation if all races are provided equal status, because economically, it will never work out. This is not a new thing, for centuries people around the world have been having wars to achieve this unity, but no one has ever succeeded. Even Hitler failed. So you have to accept this facts and learn to build tolerance towards other races and respect their believes.

I think Kennysia and his readers are those younger generation who don’t really know about our old ways. In some point of time, they have to start learning to accept the old ways of harmony living among races. I hope Kennysia have some personal Malay or Indian friends. Probably one day he could write about them, but frankly, I am in doubt.

So Kenny, I hope you could accept the fact that some people dislike what you are doing. Please do everyone a favour. Stick to you fun blogging and please stay out from insulting people, race, religion and politics. You don’t need to gain acceptance for being macho and brave. There, I said my peace. If Kennysia thinks I am slandering his reputation, go ahead and sue me. Now let’s see how he feels when we condemn him.

The only good comment I got about him is, he’s a creative person.

This statement will be posted in many forums and weblogs...just google to search for it.

Yes, Sarawak Malays are comfortable because in Sarawak they are the minority, moreover there are not many Chinese too. Also there is no reason for the Malays in Sarawak to claim that's their land because it’s rightfully belonging to the natives of Borneo Dayaks.

You Sarawakian don't feel the political pressure like we do here in West Malaysia. In West Malaysia the Malays here are the majority and second are the Chinese. The Malays here are cautious about the Chinese because the Chinese controls the economy and if they take over the politics of the country, all of us, regardless if you are a Malay will eventually suffer. I always prefer Malay leaders and the British were right when they set the rules. The British knew that the Malays are humble and tolerant people. The Chinese even can sell their mother and sister for financial gain.

Now, this Kenny fool is not from West Malaysia and he is a Chinese. Why must he stick his nose into West Malaysia politics? By not even bothering to try to resolve this issue in here, I feel Kenny is a racist. He should not insult West Malaysian Malay leaders when he is not even staying in West Malaysia. For a change, he should insult your Sarawak Menteri Besar, politicians and politics. Why not? Is he worried that he will be outcast in Sarawak for doing so? Isn’t he a coward!!! If I were Kenny, he better take extreme care when he comes over to West Malaysia. If I know when he is coming, I will personally go to KLIA and spit on the bastard face. If the Malaysian people wanted to raise issue about racism, they should start with Malay vs. Malay in UMNO. 'Nuff said.

Anyway talking about whose land is Malaysia, well, it belongs to the Orang Asli and in Sarawak, the Penan. Other people are immigrants in that sense, including the Malays, Chinese, Indians and even the Ibans. So, who are we to chase people out of other people's land?

Just because the Malays come earlier than Chinese and Indians and got their "Bumiputra" status means that Penaisula Malaysia is theirs. They are no different from the white Americans who came to America and colonialise the country and supressing the native Red Indians, then having this racism sentiments against the African American who came later to heir land.

Think that our eastern values are better than those of western? Think again.

Kenny i gotta applaud you for your wit and humour and I thought this blog was posted in good humour and tbh racism didnt even cross my mind until i read the comments.
Just wanna share what I noticed while studying in UK these few years. As London is a very international city, we come across people from all over the world and it recently struck me as very strange that only us Malaysians still identify ourselves by our "race" while most of the other nationalities will proudly just proclaim their nationalities.
For instance, thais, regardless of whether they r of chinese origin, malay origin or pure siamese origin will identify themselves as thais, and philipinos of chiense origins will only identify themselves as philipinos. seems like only us Malaysians still think of ourselvs as separate communities competing against each otehr for.....God knows what???
Like when I told my English friends we had to fill in the "ethnicity" in all our official forms in Malaysia they do not understand how one can be chinese and Malaysian at teh same time. They asked, so if you were born in Malaysia and you hav a Malaysian passport, then you must be Malay! Why are you Chinese??
To be honest I really didn't know how to explain the delicate "racial harmony" in Malaysia to them.
I seriously see something very wrong here. Why are we still caught in the colonial mindset? We blame it on the whites for racial segregation but how many years has it been already that the Brits left us?? We are the ones building walls amongst ourselves all these years! Wake up people!
We are not competing agaisnt each otehr!!!
Insetad we should be competing ALONGSIDE each other against the rest of the world!!!
