Ridiculous Roti Names

Is it just me or are Roti names getting more and more ridiculous?

Maybe after Roti I Love You, they're gonna Roti Kahwin and have a Roti Boy.

There is "Roti KLCC" which has two roti roll up shape like two cone on a plate with sweet condense milk circling around the cone. But it doesnt really look like KLCC at all... Instead it reminded people "something" else... I would say Roti Boobs or Roti Bra will be sound more suitable... for non-SX version, probably is better call as Roti Pyramid "The Cone ver."

These are normal. You can check out some mamak stalls in Seri Kembangan. They have excellent creations of ROTI MICHAEL JACKSON, ROTI TITANIC (you can imagine how many years ago was that), ROTI DISCO and even ROTI RELAX.

Posted by: ahhou at 16 August 2008 11:02 AM | Link to comment

yea, 'roti i love u' has been existed for ages, coz i tried it about 10 years back. And it is so so so sweet, they put all the sweet ingredients to make a 'rito i love u', for example condence milk, milo, sugar, honey, syrup etc. and you can taste all this different tastes all over the roti canai... maybe the first bite is milo taste, then the nxt bite is honey etc.

MAYBE ONE DAY THE ROTIS WILL BE ABLE TO BE PEACEFUL AND NOT GET ON THEIR KNEES AND BITE MY PENIS. ONE DAY THE WORLD WILL BE IN SUCH PEACE.

AMEN.

I have come across some mamak stalls in Perak which actually serve not only Roti KLCC but also Roti Bosnia, Roti Manchester United , Roti Liverpool, roti mee goreng and many more. The list is endless. One shop actually serve more than 40 types of roti which include the traditional ones....interesting
