Short Talk:
I'm starting to feel that my fortune teller was right. When it comes to playing ANY sort of game that requires a bit of a gamble, I have absolutely no luck. I can't win any money gambling.

My friend, fellow travel junkie and partner in The Amazing Race Asia (if we managed to get through lah), Nicole Tan, is one of the grand finalists for tonight's Miss Malaysia Universe 2007.
For a girl with the personality of a tomboy who has never modelled before, never joined a pageant before and never even been in a bikini before, this is gonna be quite an incredible feat.
All these while, she's that small town girl from Malacca who enjoys eating exotic food like snails and worms and iguanas. And now, she could be the next Andrea Fonseka. Heck, she could possibly even be the next Jennifer Hawkins.
Go on Nicole, make us proud.
I must admit, having a Miss Malaysia as a partner for The Amazing Race is definitely gonna be something to brag about. Heh heh.

WOw Kenny you'll be in the amazing race Asia?? Some more with a Miss Msia candidate.......YOu so lucky..........But if she wins she might not get to go due to the commitments for being the winner.... =( it just might happen......but we hope she wins also lar..........it would be best if Nicole wins and then get to go for the amazing race with Kenny........hahha that'll be a sight to see........
Oh and btw one of the candidates used to be my uni class mate ........ she looked so different but still can recognise her lar........

(Malay Mail Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)SUBANG JAYA: Malaccan beauty Tan Swee Yen, 25, was crowned Miss Malaysia Universe 2006 at the Palace of Golden Horses in Seri Kembangan here last night.
Tan, who works as a brand development associate in Petaling Jaya, will represent the country at the Miss Universe 2006 finals in Los Angeles, USA, on July 24.
Tan also bagged five subsidiary titles - Miss De Beaute Body Beautiful, Miss Skinnic Perfect Beauty, Miss Wacoal Malaysia, Miss Sachs Personality and Miss TPX Trendy.
She received a trophy, RM5,000, designer outfits worth RM50,000 which she will be wearing for the finals, an assignment contract worth RM50,000 and other sponsored gifts.
